A rabbi told his congregation, "Next week I plan to give a sermon about the lying. To help you understand my speech, I want you all to read Exodus chapter 41."
The following Sabbath, as he prepared to deliver his sermon, the rabbi asked for a show of hands. He wanted to know how many had read Exodus 41. Every hand went up.
The rabbi smiled and said, "Exodus has only 40 chapters. I will now proceed with my sermon about lying."
