This Scene Reminds Me Of Another One I Have Seen
In the movie Awakenings, there is a scene where patients who had not moved for decades became mobile. This movie shows us the type of enlightenment that comes from realizing Ha-Shem's true greatness. In the movie Awakenings, you see the happiness that can come out of this enlightenment. Remember that Ha-Shem is always there and that if you take even a small amount of time to open your eyes to Him, you will end up with positive results. Even a short amount of time can be beneficial to a great sense of enlightenment.

In bad times why can't we see God ?
In difficult times, When God is Hidden from us, it is because He wants us to see and concentrates on others, to take care of each other. The 2 greatest commandments are Love your God with all yourheart and soul and Love your neighboor as yourself. In this 2 commandments is all the Law (Maimonides).

a state of mind and we are able to create, could this be a coincidence? meant, the movie. this is my favorite one. but coincidences are not, causuality is not, it is causal and this brought me a --reminder. as long as we are able to create life will bring better circumstances.

I remind myself to always focus on one simple truth...My love for G_d should not be based on what He does for me but rather that it should be based on who G_d is!When I can't see G_d's hand it is then that I must trust His heart.G_d is always in control of even the details of my humble life. It ain't easy for me sometimes...We take care of my 81 year old father who has alzheimers, I had surgery last monday and they did a biopsy, my business has been very slow, bills are piling up but.....I shall trust the LORD G_d of Israel who is always able to deliver me from the lion's den. Had Joseph not been sold into slavery, Egypt and Joseph's family would have suffered terribly during the 7 year famine. The Holy Scriptures are the love sonnet of an Almighty, Holy and Righteous G_d to all human kind. Even to gentiles as I. Was not Ruth a gentile and yet G_d saved her and brought Boaz into her life as a kinsman redeemer. br>May this Passover remind us that G_d is faithful and is our deliverer even today amid troubled times.

I have been down do long it looks like up........
After another bad day, I was seeking something to raise my eyes and heart....this did it. It is easy to see God when things are good. It is harder to see God in the dark. It doesn't mean I don't try. I do, because then I do not just want God around me, I need God near me.

who says hidden?
I suppose "hidden" remains one's perception. G-d is in my life because I am alive and I have created my relationship alone with G-d. What is hidden is my own ineptness, not G-d.

Handfuls on Purpose
When G-d seems hidden from us, He gives us small things along the way. Ex. Like the other day, resenting a change in my career and a total reverse in lifestyle due to life changes produced from bad circumstance in which to be honest... tormenting my mind in "Where is G-d in all this?" I ...totally was loathing to go to my new job that day, exausted from all the thoughts of those who caused this, sat at my desk. One of the other secretaries showed me one of those calendars with the thought for the day concepts.(NOTE: She had no clue what was going on in my head) It said: Work is a blessing. Having a job and keeping our minds busy takes the load off our minds and relieving the stress of life, thus helping us cope. It was as if G-d Himself had spoken to me. I was able to file in my brain about going to this new job in the right perspective, and it let me know He knew how I was feeling. And it was true, though not the chosen occupation of the past, it was a blessing to be busy so I could forget the past and start anew. I have always accounted these small but very significant "Handfuls on Purpose, a way that when G-d seems hidden and bad things happen, he sends us tiny portions to let us know He is very much indeed mindful of us.
