UNIQUE SENSE OF HUMOR
OUR UNIQUE SENSE OF HUMOR HAS HELD US IN GOOD STEAD THROUGH BOTH THE GOOD AND THE BAD TIMES OF OUR LIVES...WITH FAMILY....FRIENDS....WITH POLITICS...AND ALMOST ANYTHING BARRING TRAGEDY...OUR CLEVER PERSPECTIVE/OUTLOOK IS PART OF WHAT SUSTAINS US AS A PEOPLE AND WHY FOR YEARS EVEN THOUGH A MINORITY A GREAT PERCENTAGE OF OUR FAMOUS COMEDIANS HAVE BEEN OF THE JEWISH FAITH.

I love the Jewish people, as Hashem loves me. Jewish jokes are clean, and hilarious. I am not Jewish, but I wish I get converted to Judaism soon.

About being Jewish...
The best things about being Jewish are -everything! And, you will find within those Jewish jokes the elements of our truths and beliefs. In spite of all We have been through - We can still laugh at ourselves.

The knowledge of the purpose
To appreciate being Jewish and having the torah and mitzvos, it helps to understand the purpose of our obligation. Hashem wants us to believe and practice because it is for our own benefit and growth. It's like when a parent gives rules because they know what's best for their children and what they need

We get to serve G-d
G-d left us a list and said: "Here are a few things that you can do that would make Me really happy". It is like a king asking you to do a personal favor. How great is that!
March 25, 2008 8:52 PM
The best thing...
...is being the real thing, and doing the right thing...caring and thinking and doing and believing...being chosen and choosing...feeling the pain, and even making the jokes...doing all that it takes, and knowing it isn't up to us.Oseh Shalom bimromav. Hu yaaseh Shalom alenu ve'al kol Yisrael. Amen.

ger sh'm'gerer - not convert, rather revert to state that was lost
bs"DIn Judaism, a 'convert' is not so, in the common sense of the word. You do not convert to Judaism.A ger is considered someone whose actual Jewish status was unrecognozed who is formally recognized as Jewish as such. This is not the same as conversion. Please note - and let Seinfeld's writers know.Thank you.
March 25, 2008 6:01 PM
This also shows how difficult it is for a convert to be accepted into the community.

judaism is 'yehudi'-for we accepted G-d's Torah!!
Hashem wants us to be happy and in a good mood to serve Him. Even a specail divine light can only be around a 'Happy' person. This is essentail and a fundamental part of 'Judaism'.Jokes have a Talmud base to it, and was used by the great rabbis as a way of preparing the student's mind to understand the upcoming class. It not only gives us a good laugh and a good mood, but, it draws our mind to focus.I really enjoy your way of provoking thought questions and the lessons that can be brought from these videos!!!Keep up the great work!!!!

Judaism is life for Jews
Judaism is more than just humor - Judaism is life, which is best for us as Jews.As for this Seinfeld episode, I liked the part where Jerry goes into the Church and says to the priest that Watley converting to Judaism "just for the jokes" doesn't offend him as a Jew, but as a comedian!
