And the whole thing is so crazy.. Making such a big deal about a bird as if the world ended. There are so many ppl. out there who have noisemakers, artificial noisemakers chirping and she has the natural thing!! The beautiful sounds of Gd's creature chirping.
Enjoy the little beauties in life!!!!! :D

G-d created animals for human consumtion
The ways Religious Jews kill animals, shechita is the least painful way to kill animals and animals are in the world for us to eat!!!!

Kosher meant to be vegetarian
Jews should only resort to killing animals if the killing is absolutely necessary to save a human life. Humans can derive sufficient protein without killing animals. Kosher butchering is supposedly concerned about not making animals suffer during their slaughter, but they do suffer, of course. To be truly Kosher, one should not slaughter at all and preserve the animal's life. This way there are no more worries about mixing meat and dairy.

Lower people to animals
PETA is trying not to elevate animals to human state but to bring down people to animaal state. G-d put a sole in humans but not in animals. That is it.

we must always strike a balance
While we certainly shouldn't harm animals on purpose, I don't think people should become so concerned with animal rights that they start to treat animals like humans! Everything has a place in this world and the purpose of animals is to teach us how to interact with each other. Animals are in this world for our benefit, and we should fully appreciate them. We just have to remember to take charge over them and not let them rule us!

PETA would have a field day with this...
Has she never heard of earplugs? I was once woken at dawn by a woodpecker (pecking, of course). But our world would be eerily silent if birds were silenced, G-d forbid, so I used earplugs and a pillow over the head.
Warning: (Since there are warnings on iron-on decals not to iron them on while wearing the shirt, isn't it possible someone may see this and actually try it?!) Doing CPR on a bird, you'd be risking Avian bird flu infection! Also, someone please tell the lady that birds' heartbeats are a heck of a lot faster than humans!
Of course we should treat animals with kindness, but I believe we shouldn't take that to an extreme, to the point that we can't wear leather or eat meat (in moderation, of course!).

Hotel in Peru
This reminds me of a hotel I stayed at in Peru. There were hundreds of birds roosting on the window sills. Still, I did not shoot any of them. Just because something bothers you does not give you the right to treat it with cruelty. The answer is well - Jews and non-Jews alike should treat animals well.

How not to treat animals
OK, now that I've watched that incredibly dumb (and not funny) video.....The Torah says that we should not take eggs till we shoo away the mother, and that we shouldn't keep an ox from eating grain in the field while he's plowing, and that we shouldn't yoke an ox and a donkey together. These laws are quite mild. Compared to the suffering that we support each day to millions of animals (factory farming, overuse of animals in experiments, buying furs, attending circuses that have wild animal acts, keeping "gaurd" dogs chained on kibbutz perimeters, going to zoos that house animals in small enclosures, destroying habitat, ----I could go on and on) those Torah laws are very mild. Therefore, I believe that the reason those laws are so mild in the Torah is because that we are to learn that EVEN SUCH SLIGHT discomforts we are not to cause animals. Those laws don't even cause physical pain. Rather, they are to prevent emotional pain, which most Jews don't seem to acknowledge or care about in animals. I am saying this as a frustrated religious Jew, who is constantly surrounded by apathy towards animals.
In short, those mild Torah laws teach us that, if we are forbidden to cause such slight discomforts, then surely causing (including supporting)anything greater than those discomfort is even considered even worse, according to Torah.
By the way, if anyone is curious about the oceans of torture we humans support by eating eggs, dairy products and meat, you should do some googling about it. Time to learn lots of vegan recipes to take pressure off of the animal world and the planet.

The animals were here before we were! They deserve our respect and care. God put us here to care for things and critters, not to just use them.

Animal's show G-d's love for us
I am an animal lover, I have a dog, a cat, 2 geckos and each they they show me loyalty and they're the happiest every time they see me. That's how G-d is. Loyal and always happy to answer our prayers.

IN THE SCRIPTURES G-D STATES WE HAVE DOMINION OVER ANIMALS WHICH I FEEL IS THAT WE ARE THE CARE TAKERS. MY MOTHER WOULD SAY WATCH HOW A PERSON TREATS AN ANIMAL AND YOU WILL SEE HOW HE/SHE WILL TREAT HIS OWN KIND. WHEN YOU SPELL DOG BACKWARDS YOU GET G-D AND A DOG WILL LOVE YOU UNCONDITIONALLY. I TRULY BELIEVE THAT WHEN WE ARE CRUEL TO ANIMALS WE WILL HAVE TO ANSWER FOR IT.

Yep! Thought about that bb-gun more than once. Of course there are several birds in the trees outside of my daughters window, and she is exhausted every morning. Can't move the house. Thought of cutting down the trees. The thing is, God created those birds and they are a joy to watch when the eggs hatch and you can watch them from your window as they are playing in and around the trees. We have to take the good with the bad, and my daughter now sleeps in a different room during the season when those birds are sooooo loud! Love all of His creation!

So, did the bird go back to its tree perch?
