I think that we gossip because we think it is interesting. We should not gossip, it can ruin someones life and that is not nice. What if someone gossiped about you.

I think that we gossip because it lessens our feelings when we feel flooded with emotion and we want to talk to someone and we need advise about somethings. We also gossip because sometimes we want to be surrounded with peoples attention.

why we gossip

I think people gossip because it makes us feel better inside and even if we know something about some one that is bad we probably shouldn't tell anyone unless it is about drugs or something like that. We also gossip because we want to get attention to our selfs like Michael did in the video.

why do we gossip?

i think people gossip to get attention and be rude! it isn't the right thing to do and it hurts people reputation and felling.

Gossiping is very bad for your reputation. Personally, I am a man of honor and loyalty so I believe that gossip is the worst thing in the world. It cannot be stopped and we cannot do anything about it . When you gossip about a person, it will always stay and it will make your reputation horrible. Life lesson, dont ever gossip about ANYONE!!!!

Why do we gossip?

We gossip because its usually starts the conversation. Most people gossip because they want to get everyone against one person. For example lets say Justin and marc hate each other. Justin will Tell natalie that marc said natalie was ugly ( she not ) and natalie will get mad at me and tell everyone what i said and everyone will hate marc. another reason people gossip its because they find it funny how people get mad at other people for reasons made up. People find it amusing. They don't know the consequences of gossiping and it will end up biting them in the butt in the future.

We gossip because we feel the need to talk about someone or because we are insecure about ourselves so we want to make other people feel worse about themselves than we do about ourselves. We also gossip because we want to be the center of attention and for people to come to you if they want to know something, you want to feel like you have all the answers to everything. that is why we gossip..

Why we gossip.

We think that we gossip because we want attention. Also, maybe we are mad at the person that we talk about so we do it anyways. When the person figures out that the person they gossiped about knows, they want to take the words back. You can never take the words back but you want to and then it is hard for you clean the mess up. we dont feel what the other person feels until er get in their possicuion. If you are not that persons friend because of a fight and you gosip abot her because you are so mad, afeter everything you become friends again and she finds out that you gosiped about her. You never know what you loose until you loose it

Gossip !

Well, the fist of all gossip is funny, it says gossip comes from women, especially as they come older, hahaha, but I believe gossip s especialy comming from deeper inside, jealousy, hatred toward someone etc... feeling based, makin yourself interesting, ... or if you know someone hates somebody you know and you want to lobby that person to get something out out of him or her, youll gossip about that person's ennemy, mainly hypocrit.... whatever, since the first sin, evil became part of our beings, .... And let us not forget that if we are not 100% sure of the things we say about someone is a 100% true, we are probably liying, and here's a sin... even when gossip is true, it seems to always destroy somehow a bit or lot of the person's life, (((your life first))) Shalom, !!!

Missing the Point

Jewlarious missed a much deeper topic discussed in this episode. when creed (thats the older guy in the grey suit) finds out that a rumor is going around that he has asthma he tells everyone to keep it a secret because if they find out they wont let him scuba "and if i cant scuba what has this all been about what have i been working towards (it starts at 1:25) Aish.com should have only shown that part and then put the much more philosophical question of "What is life about?"

Gossip & The Effects

Gossip is used as a means to connect with people in a way that makes the gossiper feel empowered because they feel like they have a say in someone else's life, even when no one has asked. People are looking for approval, looking for attention, looking for a way out of how they feel, its like that good old saying, there is a high in being low, and people love to take others down with them, and sometimes they don't realizing they are doing that. I like the question Why do people Gossip, but I have another question that I would like to propose and that is what happens when people gossip? Here's what I've learned: Gossip is hurtful and it blocks the supernatural blessings in our lives. There are three ways the devil can destroy our blessings through gossip, and there are always 3 negative parts to the gossiping chain. 1. The gossiper: the negative effect in this situation is that the gossiper is speaking evil, which in return tears down their own future and the one being talked about. 2. The person being gossiped about, the negative effect on this person is that the people who are gossiping about this person has been tearing down this person's future and even their own future because gossip opens the door to curses in your life.3. The listener of the gossip, the listener may not even agree but once they have listened they have taken part in negatively effecting that persons future that is being talked about, sadly in return All people are getting hurt in the process, which stops the blessings that God wants to provide for that day. i agree and believe it to be TRUE! the gossiper want the attention, all eyes and ears turned toward them. any one who listens to the gossiper and spreads these rumors or vicious statements against other people is in the same is just as heinous as the person who gossips.

People usually like to gossip about something that someone else did so that put the other person down, and thus they feel like they have put themselves up. Like saying that "X and Y had a fight"--and because I didn't it makes me look better than them. Also, sometimes people spread rumors/gossip about people they're jealous of.

we gossip becase we like to feel ahead of the game "i know something you don't know" and if we can't come up with something truthfull we strech the truth and spread it as the truth. both are wrong and spitefull
