Most of negative sterotyping anyone comes from entertainment, TV, movies, radio, - media. It's the most because it communicates negativity to the masses who can spread it to their immediate acquaintances. In media, it's followed by a laught track, just listening to laughter causes a laughter response no matter what is being shown or told. Manipulation to make a buck.

It's Jewish women in general who are stereotyped. It isn't necessary to have children. The video seems, to me, to be as mean spirited as jokes made by non-Jews. Although, I used to think that Johnny Carson was actually hurting Ed McMahon's feelings, so perhaps I'm being over-sensitive.

I'm not the typical Jewish mother, and although I hope that my children find Jewish spouses someday...I would never be so disrespectful as the last person in this clip.

Seriously, there should be Adopt-A-Jewish-Child
Have a bit of compassion for children with mothers like this who go through years of pain and guilt. They are missing a real adult presence in their life. Yes, this might be a funny reminder for people to call their mother but for others it is all too painful.

I probably would have driven a Jewish Mother nuts. I have always been strong willed and want to do things my way. Some days trying to be a quiet little Jew drives me nuts and I have to rebel.

Obssessing over things that didn't even happen!!
possibly; this is funny except for the girlfriend made felt to be unwelcome!! Any chance a soul can grasp to vent anger is positive but only up to a point. Offending others is not respectable. Art therapy, though, is a good idea. Advancing rotten stereotypes like a jewish mother needs a social programme to have an idea 'tailor made' for her is a less-than-the best social policy.
