... however ...

many of us are destined to just get on with life and take on the motto is 'love what you are/have/do' and not 'love what you aren't/don't have/don't do'; many of my friends have despaired going after what they loved, a few did well by going after what they love --- I didn't want many things that came my way, they were big, they were beautiful, and plentiful, but not what I had planned for myself... but they were gifts from God and I learned to like them and learned to love many of these gifts that got me through life (I'm pushing 60yrs old) and in retrospect I now know it's what was best for me. Learning to receive as well as to give and all of it with Gratitude was key in my life. I'm remarried now, and still don't have 'what I want' but Boy! is my life Good! I"m so grateful to Hashem.

What a great speech that was! It made me smile and think about its deep message simultaneously.

Uplifting humor & message

Great, uplifting message told without a "holier than thou" attitude, but with lots of humor. Great video production by Birthright "grad" Ike Winkler and his colleagues at David Lynch Foundation TV.
