Thank you!

Thank you for this video...you made me smile at a subject that is difficult to smile at! This is indeed a tricky subject to discuss with a child, as I have experienced myself all too recently. After losing both my father and my husband w/in the span of almost exactly 3 months...there has not been a whole lot of smiling lately...thank you for bringing some my way! :)

I'm not sure but...

I cannot say what is the correct way, but children should realize that death is not the end. From this clip it sounds like the kid doesn't realize that death doesn't mean that all that's left of us is a body for worms to eat. Rather death is an entranceway into olam haba, a wonderful place. It depends on the child though on how one would approach the topic.

YES - YOU DO NOT KNOW THE CHILD!

AS YOU DO NOT KNOW THE CHILD, HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT WHAT THE FATHER SAID WAS'NT THE RIGHT THING? HE OBVIOUSLY KNOWS HIS SON AND THEREFORE NEW HOW TO EXPLAIN THIS TO HIM.

Whoa

whoa dude take a chill pill. #1- I don't think the guy you were responding to meant what you think. It seems to me that what he meant was that you should always explain to the child the concept of Olam Haba, but the way with which you explain it depends on the child. #2- the kid was that guy's grandson not his son. And #3- you wrote 'new' you should have written 'knew'.
