what amazes me the most is how, even when faced with a bleak prognosis, (none of us should know of such things) he didnt submit to depression. and instead chose to inspire others and make them happy

This was very inspiring. That's how people should be. What an amazing person! We should all merit to get our priorities straight without needing a life threatening illness or other bad experience to wake us up! Do the things that really matter.
