You cannot say to a child "Do as I say, not as I do."

Parents are kids too
If you want your children to behave, start by behaving yourself. Is it your place to dictate to your own Mom and Dad what they may do? Give them the space and respect their position (not to mention years and experience) deserves.

There really are no bad kids. If a child doesn't listen to their parents or are acting naughty look at the parents. So many don't want to scold or have boundaries because some child syc says it inhibits their true talents, etc. How rediculous! A child needs direction from their parents or usually they become a pain in the a--s. I don't believe in corporal punishment, but a strong no you can't or won't wouldn't hurt any child..

i enjoyed watching this WITH my grandkids. Children do crave boundaries-NO Is not a bad thing. Discipline keeps everyone in line, including parents. Too much leniency allows the kids to try to get away with things. Of couse, this movie is an exaggeration, but in the end, the kids are so happy and know they are loved because of the boundaries set.
