ISRAEL: A LIGHT to the NATIONS
I haven't seen the video yet but the picture alone speaks volumes. The Jew appears to being doing exactly what HaShem describes in the Torah-being a "LIGHT to the NATIONS." This is a simple act of kindness. Jews and African-Americans have always had a unique relationship for millennium. Furthermore, Zechariah prophesies "Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the Lord of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the Lord. Thus saith the Lord of hosts; in those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, we will go with you: for we have heard that G-d is with you." I simply see this picture as a glimpse of the beginning of many prophesies that are yet to be fulfilled. Moreover, I think that if Goyim-and total strangers at that-are allowed to enter the home of Orthodox Jews and do them a favor on the Shabbat then this is a BEAUTIFUL gesture of thank you on behalf of the Jew. A great Rabbi said that we are to "LOVE our NEIGHBOR as OURSELF for this is the greatest commandment." Another great Rabbi said the there is no LAW for LOVE therefore to LOVE is the greatest Commandment." In conclusion, I find it hypocritical in a sense because whenever there is a Shoah or national crisis or Anti-Semitism is on the rise, Jews can care less about a Gentile-homeless or otherwise-in their space. I find that the Jews in Israel are totally different from American Jews. Israeli Jews are more celebratory of Blacks while American Jews have an air of superiority and hypocrisy about them. Nevertheless, this Jewish man has once again showed me that there is good in all races, colors and creeds. All in all this is a GREAT picture and I give ALL PRAISES to the MOST HIGH! This truly is the FIRE of the TORAH (Aish HaTorah). The LAW/TORAH KILLS but the SPIRIT/RUACH HA KODESH QUICKENS!

Male vs female would make a difference to me
The sleeping guy looks a bit scary, I definitely would not have been so nice, just being honest!. If it was a female, that didnt give me vibes of being homeless I probably would let.

Not so sure
Not sure that allowing a total strannger in a subway sleep on your shoulder correlates well with helping another in need ...On sooo many levels...Not sure we should be advocating our youth to allow a stranger to sleep on their shoulder....we can find so many other opportunities in our daily lives to help others, and the lesson would have been a better one

this movie was slightly creepy. no one should be told that not letting a random guy on the subway sleep on your shoulder is failing to help another in need

totally adorable. and showing
It really does take a lot to allow a stranger to sleep on your shoulder, so this is a great experiment. Great job on bringing out the lesson in it, rather than just posting it as a funny video on youtube.Thank you for your work!
