Hallal and. kosher

I agree with Liz. These people are not that bright. It is so easy today to research where to find something. Could they not ask if there was a synagogue nearby. This film amazes me.

So sad..

The saddest part of this clip was when the "nice Jewish boy" didn't know what kosher was...I hope that incident makes him think that being jewish isn't just about being a nice boy....

Know How

I agree with (10) Devorah, December 18, 2012 9:23 PM, the main issue is not that these people didn't know apriori what "kosher" means but that they did not take any steps to find out. They just made assumptions based on limited ideas of what constitutes "religion." They should have first looked for a source of information - a library, tourist's center or their Iphones - before starting their search for the chicken itself. Unfortunately, I also agree with those who state that these "losers" will most likely blame the Jews for their failure, not their own incompetence.

The MC is the stupid one

This man who is slamming these poor people for not knowing what "kosher" is: Why should they know how to find a kosher chicken in a Muslim country? Sure the obvious first step is to try to find out where Jews are, but by making these people absolutely mortified, he might also be making them a tiny bit anti-anything Jewish-related. I'd rather be someone who doesn't know how to find a kosher chicken than someone who cruelly mortifies people.
