The secret to Jewish survival
If one only studies Jewish history and looks at the one common factor between Jews in Yemen ,Poland, Spain, or Lithuania one will see that it was a steadfast dedication to a life lived by the same Torah given by G-d at Mount Sinai. They were always a minority with no homeland (after the destruction of the second temple) and they somehow weren't swallowed up by the dominant cultures they lived in. But there dedication to G-d and his Torah never wavered. I recommend Rabbi Dovid Gottlieb's book "Living up to The Truth" where he talks extensively on this topic.
