I agree.

What the doctor said is true.
I delivered a stillborn baby 2 1/2 years ago and even though I merited to give birth to a healthy baby since, there is still a part of me that always remembers the one that I lost.

When my aunt heard what happened she called and told me "You should just know: I lost a baby 37 years ago. Since then I merited to deliver 9 healthy children but the pain never fully goes away. The one that you lost is forever in your memory."

May we all know only happiness and good tidings.

Very moving

The doctor was portrayed as a most sensitive, caring and giving human being. A real role model. The young father? Unfortunately, I did not see the same potential for greatness. Perhaps because our young people are being brought up to be totally self-centered, and pleasure seeking. Are we transmitting the true values that enable us to be truly righteous?

You've judged too soon

The young father who you think has little capacity for caring and empathy turns out to be one of the best fathers and husbands depicted on television. His biggest flaw is alcoholism, which he works at defeating. Please watch the show before judging him based on his age and what he looks like. This clip only shows him as a young devastated man who has a lot to cope with in a short period of time, and what happens shortly after this clip shows him for the person he truly is.

This Is Us scene

Yes God does use our losses to help others. It is sort of like planting a seed of grief and sadness, but having the fruit of love and compassion grow to help others. It is like a resurrection coming from death. I remember seeing this episode and it moved my heart again.
