texting

We have "kosher" phones and all you can do with them is talk. So that's what we do and I love it. I speak to my husband, my children, and grandchildren. It's wonderful to hear their voices even though they live nearby.

You mean to tell me that people who have texting don't have these pleasures? It's hard for me to believe it.

I Text But I'm Not Sure It's To Shut Out the Other Person

Texting encourages getting down to business. See you X time at Y place. Talking is better for socializing. If I don't choose to spend 5 minutes making conversation but just want to get to the nub of things, I hope that doesn't mean I don't respect and like the other person. Why should I take up her time or his time with a lot of filler?
