Firstly, I totally and completely agree with Elisheva's comment above. If this video was meant to show that we should love our kids more than our spouses, that goes against everything I know and have been taught by life and my teachers. And that just doesn't make sense. LIke Elisheva commented, if we don't put our spouse first, the kids suffer. The best childhood you can give your kids is one full of love and respect btwn the parents. To add to that, when your kid grows up and moves out, you and your spouse are alone again, iy"H for many many more years past the last kid's wedding. Doesn't that in itself show that this is a LIFE LONG partnership? There's a reason we call them "life partners". Then again, I saw this movie last year and I am not at ALL sure what posting it here has to do with anything - all they said is that they love being parents. What does that have to do w your original question at all?

Yes, it's important to love your kids-- but your spouse has to be #1! If not, the kids suffer more than you can imagine.
