Why didn't they ask me if I want some?

I think that the title should've been "giving away the jackpot" rather, "making a wise investment"

If I won the lottery

I would give 100% of it to Migdal Or.

I do not want to take away from the greatness of their act at all. I just have some comments on the comments. #6DD - On lawsuits - first of all they said that they also gave to family, but more than that, Canadians do not have the "sue everybody" mentality that seems to be popular in the USA. #8 - they did not say that it went to pay for Cancer treatments, again, we are talking about Canada, full socialized medicine. And #9 the Pastor - Judaism recognizes that different folks have different shares of physicality in this world, there are poor and there are rich, but everyone is equal when they come together to pray. I don't think that you are going to help the world's suffering people by giving away $11M, it doesn't hurt, but it doesn't fix the problem and the problem doesn't need fixing like that. Suffering people need one on one attention.
