Love them
Just show them that you love them. Don't just say it. Show it. Hug them. Kiss them. Listen to them. Guide them. Assist them. LOVE THEM!

Institute "special (one on one ) time with each child even if only for a few minutes
Giving each child special time alone with a parent and being sure to let the child knw it. I.e. Saying "isn't this nice having special time with each other! " It is essential to let them know so the learn the concept and to ask for special time with someone when the need it. Soon after a rough day, a our children would say What I need is sexual time with you(or with mommy or daddy or even " with myself I.e. inner to be alone for a little while. A good side effect is that one day you will be able to say "Daddy and I will be going four special time with each ot! And the children will understand. From charlene Stokamer with grateful thanks to our chidren's wonderful nursery school teacher.Mrs Indyck who introduced the concept of special time to our family

How to get kids to behave in stores
I think one of the best things I did as a parent is when my children were little and we would go shopping I put them in the cart and went directly over to the toy aisle. I allowed them to pick a toy and told them we had to put it back before we left (first time I had to keep reminding them before you even get to the toys or books and started whi;le at home and in the car!). They played with the item they chose all throughout the store, allowing me to get done whenever I needed. That seemed to pacify them and keep both of us happy. Then when we left any store or actually anywhere I would thank them and tell them since they did so well I would like to bring them back again. First time try it in a place that they want to return too!

Oy...issues
OK, the baby was put in backwards, aside from not being strapped in. I think the latter was deliberate for the movie, while the former was a result of a stupid and inexperienced non-parent as the movie director. But I sure noticed it...it grated liie a fingernails on a blackboard (blackboard?? What's that?). Plent of other unrealistically dumb stuff too. Could there be such a dumb MOm? She wasnt even trying. THis whole movie business, just going down down down. Bad acting, bad story line bad scripting...egad!
