I found this clip very funny but at the same time very disturbing! The Muslim and the christian join together because they both hate the Jew! Pretty frightening....

No, I completely disagree. You have the right to be frightened. Nobody should be told to calm down.... that's what happened in the Holocaust! People thought that they could joke with their neighbours and that they were all friends until one day they all turned on them.... A very frightening thing indeed... not to be taken lightly.

HILARIOUS

This video is hilarious. I am a muslim and to be able to joke about these afflictions is funny. I really enjoyed this video.

I really enjoyed it

I was raised a Catholic and choose to convert to Judaism.I think that it was very funny and glad to see people able to joke about these issues.To me it shows growth and of course these comments should not be taken the least bit seriously. Ella

FUNNY

This was hilarious, but I don't think it should be taken so seriously. We all know not ALL Christians hate Jews. In fact, I would venture to say that most people nowadays are pretty accepting. But this still funny, because it USED to be true. It still is, up to a point. But now we can laugh at it instead of cry over it.

Funny satirical sad but true

As others have already said here so eloquently, Christian and Muslims argue that theirs is the "only" true religion yet they will join in a united hatred of Jews. Why? This bothers me so very much....isn't there enough space on this planet for us all to share and not hate and murder each other? Or am I simply too naive??

Here's why it IS funny

It's very funny, and though there are many righteous people of different faiths, Muslims today and Christians for many years have insisted that only people from their own respective religions had any value and that all others would be eternally punished. And that is an idea worth making fun of. On the other hand, Judaism recognizes that all people have value and will be judged by their actions rather than their religious affiliation.

Yes, FUNNY!

To Frances: Though many Evangelical Christians are overwhelmingly in support of Israel (...for reasons which are not always entirely altruistic,) the New Testament tends to focus almost singularly on the Jews as being the bad guys. So does the Koran of the Islamic faith. Historically, Jews have had to endure many abuses from the adherents of these other religions; so, all things considered, there is nothing askew about the context of this skit.

To David: It would not have been as funny if the skit had been about Jews and Christians against Muslims or Jews and Muslims against Christians because Jews do not have a history of abusing people of other faiths; and secondly, among these three major religions, Jews are the only ones who are truly capable of laughing at themselves. These other guys are too tense and uptight. Christians would have written the network a flurry of indignant letters, and Muslims might have rioted and burned cars. Think it's not possible? Just look at what happened in Europe over mere cartoons just a couple of years ago.

No, not funny. Who ever wrote this doesn't really know how all Christians feel. As for myself, I do like Jews (and Muslims). I may disagree with their theology. Besides this show is just sarcastic.

Although I can understand you feelings, I disagree - This was funny - no doubt funny - and if it had been the Jew and the Christian agreeing that evertone hates stinky Muslims it still would have been funny or even the Muslim and the Jew discussing how drinking blood and eating the body of Jesus makes the Christians condone canabalism (now there is a great idea for another clip). Even my most Jewish friend, Crazy Joe and his boooring and double boooring friends would agree.

mixed feelings

im usually a fan of jon stewart and his show. Yet after viewing this clip, i have mixed feelings. I am not too happy that the common ground found between christian and muslim was a common dislike of the jew. it seems to send the wrong message to potential viewers of this clip.
