Concious and Subconcious messaging
I used to be idealistic and believed most of the media, main stream media at least, were unbiased, not any more. Though some media do report the Gaza conflict in a more open style of what has and is transpiring in this conflict, most of the media use concious and subconcious messaging through video clips, wording, and sentence structure that reveal the media and/or reporter's bias. It seems that reporting is set-up to just support a certain bias rather than to investigate both sides of the conflict and educate the public.

true
it's so true, for two years, hamas has been throwing rockets into Israel, and nobody said anything. But when Israel takes action to stop Hamas, the world gets on us. I think the message to us is that we can only rely on G-d to be on our side and help us

Am levadod yishkon
As R' Shlomo Carlebach Ztzl once said, "Somtimes it makes me happy but somtimes it makes me sad. Israel has no friends in the world... But do you know what we have? Yisroel btach b'Hashem we have ONE loving Father in Heaven"

Jews must save Jews. Not G-d. Jews.
I am a Jew. Proud descendant of one of the most beautiful cultures and heritages in the world, and citizen of Israel, the most miraculous democracy on earth. That being said, I am also an atheist. Millenias of being slaugtered left and right by almost anyone, lately with horrifying success, and 60 years of constant attacks by people (and that's a compliment) who simply can't stand living beside us for what we are have shown me one simple thing: When a Jew hesitates to defend himself, he suffers. The times Jews were REALLY safe were when we had our government and our army. Then, and now, too. Say what you want about the dangers of living in Israel, but as all these demonstrations show, Israel is the safest place for Jews. So- stand up for yourselves, Jews of Europe. You are the only ones that can stop the antisemitism from acting out. Don't rely on God. Come to Israel that will defend you, or defend yourselves abroad, but dammit, do something!

Not funny at all
This was not funny. Unfortunately, it is somewhat true, and that is very scary.

Not to worry
We as intelligent beings, always know what's the right thing to do, but always end up doing the wrong thing. Be it not exercising, over eating, lashon hara, etc. Similarly the world knows Israel is doing the right thing. Its just that they have no integrity & guts to support it, and are currently involved in bootliking the terrorist community. Not to worry! Hashem is always with us. And that all we need.

Anti Isreal led by the left
Anti Isreal sentiment is evident in the media. This is led, not by the Christian right, but the elitest left in this country. There is a growing anti semitism throughout europe and the United states. I have seen it first hand where I have traveled.

IT'S BEEN 8 YEARS
to comment on #12 if you get your facts from the media then maybe chamas has been throwing rocket for 2 years. but i live in israel and i know that it has been over 8 years since hamas has began thier rocket attacks. it's so sad how far removed we are from the truth.

sad but true
This is so true I can't even see the humor in it. I had to turn off NPR (which I usually like) because their reporting was so biased. I am really sick of all this. And hamas is still launching rockets. What in the world do they hope to achieve?

A quote from Golda Meir
The great former Prime Minister Golda Meir once told Israels Arab enemies. "We can forgive you for killing our children, but we can never forgive you for forcing us to kill your children". That quote appears to be even more relevant today.
