Not-so-Kosher comedy by Jews

It's wonderful that many of the 20th-Century famous comedians were Jews, such as those in the video.

It's a chillul Hashem, however, that many of those whose "comedy" consists primarily of profanity and vulgarity were/are also Jews, ranging from Lenny Bruce to Seinfeld to Sarah Silverman.

That's what happens when a Jew is raised without Torah and mitzvos (meaning "commandments," not "good deeds").

As a little kid from the late 50s to 69, I went to the Borscht Circuit with my parents. The last Summer I was there in 69, Woodstock was close by the resort we were staying at but my did wouldn't let me go. I was just turning 16. I always had a blast there.
