What a true Kiddush Hashem! I am deeply inspired!

It seems that the school system is missing very much the basic morals and ethics, which we Jews have through learning and growing up with Torah and Mitzvah''s, as soon as they got influenced by a principal with Torah values, everything has changed for the better.

Its no surprise why Tal Ben-Shahar''s class in Harvard is the most popular, since it teaches the Torah secrets that secular education is so lacking

What an amazing reflection
What an amazing and true reflection of what the power of the Lubavitcher Rebbe and his teachings can do. Changing the world and making it a better place, one good deed at a time.

A true Kiddush HaShem and a Kiddush Chabad.

Something everyone can be proud of, especially the Jews and even more so Chabad community worldwide.

We Have The Power to change and effect the world, that we should all use. For those who dont know how, The Rebbe has laid out instructions and teachings.....

Social Citizen
I agree with his view that we should train our children to be good social citizen and not just teach reading and writing skills.

I would have loved to have heard how exactly his religious teachings helped him in converting the school.

Stories like these need to be studied for the lessons to be understood and passed on to other schools to make life better for everyone.

It is by passing on wisdom( what works ) that each of us can make the world a better place.

Human dignity & value
As Shimon sees himself born in Hashem's image-he projects that value to the pupils,parents & teachers.He makes each person so special giving them that feeling of worth and dignity
that is so lacking in todays's world especially amongst our leaders and supposedly role models.Shimon has the
wonderful character traits of vision,action with meaning,fortitude but most especially loving kindness-exactly what Hashem would expect from all souls he has sent down to this world.

an amazing story
As a member of the teaching profession, I was intrigued by this story. I usually perceive chassidim as insular; but this man is different. He melds his secular and religious backgrounds to mend the world (tikkun olam) and sets an example for Jews and Christians. This is a very good man who is truly making this world a better place for all mankind. TEACHER

Inspiring, an example to follow!
This principal is totally inspiring and acts according to his values; to many people in position of authority and influence talk much and do so little to turn things around while they can...It's not only a waist of public funds but an imposture. Each one of us should feel concerned about what's going on in the World, far and close to us. There is no such thing as "What can we do about it?..." Every action, word, has its own impact, for the better or for the worst. Just try it and you will see the results. Did you ever ask yourself how to eat an elephant or go up a hill?
.....One bite at the time and one step at the time, is there any other way ?

Intervention and leadership
That was one of the best stories I heard from a Chasidic Jew. Intervention and leadership, as long as it is in the right direction, makes all the difference and goes a long way.

Not only should the principal intervene, but he ought to encourage others to intervene with their peers, especially when it comes to teasing and bullying. If only there was more positive intervention encouraged to students among students, the less emotionally scarred they'd feel in life ahead.

This Chasidic Jew is demonstrating effectively how things can turn around for the better, and I like how he is not just giving himself credit, but the students as well, because they do have room to listen and learn in order to be a light onto their peers. If only more schools were better trained to handle or prevent bullying and conflicts effectively.
