(15) Miriam, 15/4/2008 Be believe thruthful people! Of course! If a company (person) displays truth in a trying situation (like trying to sell their product) then you trust them to be truthful in general.
(14) Patti Jenkins, 10/3/2008 We live in a world that Truth is is between black Yes we live in a world that is caught between black and grey. And any one who tries to see theblack and white of it will be called a bigit and a wacko. But thats where you will find the kindest people on earth and only one book is in the knowing that book is Torah and we are the people of black and white. Nothing in between will work for us so lets get together and have a party for 8 days and remember the miracles of Truth! Moses and arron have shown us the way and where they lead I will follow ! How about you.
(13)Anonymous, 9/3/2008 after time, it would work i think that, initially,if an advertizer only says the truth, he wouldn't get that far, but after a while, the area he lives in will get influenced andhe willeventuallly be the winner!
(12) tehila, 3/3/2008 love it wish we could really have it; maybe people would finally grow up and pay attn to what they buy?
(11) Wayne, 24/2/2008 advertising agencies are paid to lie Truth-in-advertising laws, if enforced, would eliminate about 90% of our current crop of ads.
(10) David Thomas, 20/2/2008 I LOVE THIS MOVIE!! Except for the cussin' this is the funniest movie on earth!! Great job Dudley!
(9) harmony, 19/2/2008 It's getting closer Since that movie was made, there have been many truth in advertising laws passed. Did you know that if you are in a commercial saying that you have a cold, you have to have a cold? Or at least allergy symptoms. Also, the more annoying a commercial is, the better it sells. You say you'll never buy it because you hate the commercial, but when you get to the store, that's the brand name you'll remember.
(8) Rob Erwine, 19/2/2008 The truth Ha HA HA HOHOHO this is killing me BUT gess WHAT? its the cold TRUTH !
(7) Richard, 19/2/2008 It would be wonderful to see honesty for a change! I have no idea whether it would work or not. Too many people are only interested in FLUFF. But I do know it would work on me.
(6) Irma, 19/2/2008 Why not? YES, I think would work, and I am just waiting for some BRAVE one to do it!!.
(5) Rosen, 18/2/2008 advertising and delivery The delivery of advertising almost always has to do with the company's bottom line. Assuming they advertise honestly and subtly, then they have helped their bottom line. If advertising gets too superficial, then people are going to suspect how misleading it is, especially those who take things very literally. It's like when that judge unsuccessfully sued a dry cleaner last year attempting to get $60 million in damages for getting the wrong pair of pants and taking literally the signs on the walls saying "same day service" and satisfaction guaranteed"...Unfortunately, there is a lot of advertising out there that ends up being too good to be true! When one expects convenience, he/she tends to get more the opposite of consumed time and other hassles. I'm not sure if any people have successfully sued a company for false advertising...Other than that, advertising should be kept honest, concise, and simple.
(4) Irongranny, 17/2/2008 Truth is in His Word Some people buy according to ads, other's don't. Like somebody said - was it Lincoln -- you can fool some of the people all of the time..all of the people some of the time but not all of the people all of the time.
The bottom line when it comes to advertising, like most other things, is the guy's paycheck.
(3) anon, 17/2/2008 bad advertising his mistake is to focus on the negative. he wants to be truthful but that doesn't mean you have to focus on the bad. he's right, advertisers shouldn't misconceive the public. you don't have to flaunt negative details to be truthful - just don't hide them. at the same time, and most important of all - focus on the good
(2) paul a. hitchcock, 17/2/2008 you can do nothing against it, but for it! yes, i think it would help businesses improve their products and services!
"toothless"
(1) Samuel, 17/2/2008 Truth In some instances but for the most part it might scare people away. At least I think that the guy's advertisements would scare me aware from buying anything he advertised.
