No Jewish people would have made a difference. Nor any other specific nation. What is the world like now? Why?...human nature. And we have aALL of us to thank. NO nation has made the positive and lasting change G-d''s children so greatly wants and needs (and should/can have.) WE all, who are from God, strayed from His word, it will take (for sure) at least most of us to make right this (G-d''s) world again-- much more than any one nation.

If we gave up in Egypt, the world would be in a totally different place, given Jewish contributions that would be lacking--sicker and polytheistic I guess!

If the jewish people become wussy and try to negotiate away all their problems, they will be NO WHERE. Sometimes, you just got to stand your ground, and to Hell with dissenters. Those who critize Israel will not lament for one minute if they get pushed into the sea. Hang tough!

I just wouldn't have an example to follow
Every time life gets tough, I have the example of the Jewish people inspiring me to go on. The worst situations that could ever happen to humanity have happened to them and they're still there with hope, braveness and love for God's promises. If they could continue with so much against them then all of us can, with God's help.

I am grateful to the L-rd, blessed be His Name, that He has empowered His people with courage, kindness and commitment. We would not have been blessed with Christianity, the polio vaccine and the tv remote control ( I can't imagine a world without the remote control) had they quit their mission. I would have loved to have been born Jewish. Lately, I fantasize of discovering I am of Jewish descent and imagine my family name is actually Ben David. There is a growing support and concern for the Jewish people among many Christian leaders. The time has come that we cease vilifying G-d's chosen and stand with Israel. May G-d continue blessing the world through His people.

Guilt?
Are the guilt tactics Lance Armstrong used really supposed to inspire the Peter (dogeball player) to not give up?

I do not think this is the best way to encourage people. It would not help me, and from my experience it does not work for many people.

The world would br a much sadder place...if you can imagine...
I am a Christian by birth but practice love of all religions.

I have many Jewish friends, and what strikes me most is the incredible balance of tragedy (via the Shoah/Holocaust) with the irrepressible levity for life, birth, comedy, and letting the spirt SOAR...

Study some Yiddish phrases/sayings, and you will begin to understand the complex, valuable, insightful thoughts of a beautiful culture and people.

Where we'd be w/o Da Jews?
The world would be even more mucked up by people who don't know how to think for themselves. Jews got into all that trouble by being the people who say what everyone is thinking, but too scared to say. If they'd given up on that, guess who'd be ruining the world!
