What a great article for me for old homeweek. Where can I see the whole movie?? That is why Rabbi Poupko is Elvis every purim!! He is a try-to-be Elvis Shmelvis.
(3) Hilda, 18/4/2007 Elvis and the Fruchters How delightful! Jeanette Fruchter attended our Temple in Albany, Ohav Shalom Shabbat mornings after the Rabbi's death and I often sat with her. She loved talking about Elvis, who she said was a wonderful young man and how he used to visit with them and enjoyed listening to the Rabbi's records of famous Chazzanim. It was nice seeing her in yur little movie.
