Life presents choices... shall it be matzoh, or shall it be challah!
Mom was on a perpetual diet in the late 1940's and seh decided that matzoh would be her snack. So the only snack in the house was matzoh. Now, 65 years later, I think about a matzoh square smeared with some Welch's grape jelly. Hmm hmmm good!

Good all year long
Tonight, I heard a terrible pun: What is a person who loves to eat matzo? A matzochist. I've baked my own matzo...I have zero problem with letting someone else do the work. It all tastes the same. But I really do like matzo all year 'round. Matzo brei, yum! Matzo pizza, especially with the large round kind that is made by hand. Where would we be without matzo meal? MATZO BALLS!!! Now that Pesach is almost over, we can eat onion or egg (or both) or whole wheat...makes my mouth water. What a gift we have...for the entire year.

Fascinating history of Jewish Matzah factory. Would like to try and make it myself. One of the trucks did advertise the wholewheat matzah, something that I've never seen in shops, but will look out for it or make it myself. Thank you!

Makes me want to go to NY
I wonder when that was taped. The first thing I noticed is those pink matzo's boxes with the Peach Matzo's and stamped on there is "2003" You can also see them at the end of the video. The reason I say this is because I tend to buy the large package with five boxes wrapped up and I also collect the nice wrapping paper. Well in my kitchen right now is the pink box of Streit's Passover Matzo's which was the last box in the package which I opened last Pesach and on it is that same "2003" And yes they still are just like new and I will be finishing this box on this Pesach! I tend to have more boxes of matzo at home than my wife and I can eat. Pesach Shalom
