Halacha
There is a concept in Jewish law of Kol Isha or Women's voice. Men aren't supposed to hear women sing (there is a ton of opinion on this). So it looks like to make a vidoe that was inclusive they just had the singers voice and everyone lip sinc. I am not commenting on how I feel about this just explaining it. A few days after holicoust memerial day is not the time to argue about such things.

"a TON of opinion on this" - Please check your scale. All the research I have done subject shows reveals little (read no) descenting opinion. The closest to a disagreement I ever found was whether a recorded voice is the same as a live one and if a group of voices is the same as one. But all agree that a live, single [or married :-) ] female voice, except perhaps at certain times for a father, brother, husband, or son, may not be listened to according to the Torah. Blessings may not be recited and Torah may not be learned "in front" of the voice much as blessings may not be said and Torah may not be learned in front of "nakedness" as defined by the Torah.

May we all celebrate in Eretz Yisrael
If you have never spent at least a few months in Israel, do it. If you have never spent a few weeks in Eretz Yisrael, do it. May we all be together in Israel not next year, not next month, not next week-------but NOW. Happiest of Birthdays for the preciousgift given to us, the Jewish People. I LOVE the unity that this film brings out. All types of Jews coming together for our nation's independence. Having grown up in an ultra-Orthodox community i realize that this film is meant for all types of Jews and people from all backgrounds and I am glad that your Rabbinic board recognizes that!!!
