Miracles and Smoke Alarms: How My Family was Saved from a House Fire

In this must-see video Shellie Grafstein tells the dramatic story of how her house went up in flames and all the miracles that saved their lives.

The fire department cannot explain how Akiva Grafstein survived. And that isn’t the only miracle in this story. The smoke detectors woke up Shellie just in time, detectors that she installed after the tragic fire that killed 7 children of the Sasson Family.

In this video Shellie Grafstein, who lives in Beit Shemesh, Israel, takes you on a tour of the burnt house as she tells her chilling story.

Second Miracle

B"H they all got out safely. For me it was a miracle too because I was the original owner of that house. I felt someone was telling me to leave and I did. If I hadn't left I would never have been able to get out during that fire. I am 77 years old and could not have repelled down from the second floor like they did and the window bars were locked when I lived there.
