One of the most special videos I have ever seen. What a wonderful, caring individual! He must feel like his life has tremendous meaning - may Hashem continue to give him strength to assist these youth. jj

Excellent article

I was very much inspired by Shimon'sproject, his work with these juveniles, and especially with the frankness with which he spoke about his own growth from the experience. I was, however, disappointed that along the way, there was no mention about Who created this magnificent world, Who bestowed this breathtaking country to the people of Israel, Who gives you the srength and courage and perseverence to accomplish these great feats? Yes, it takes courage to come to the realization that there is a Power outside yourself, but how can a program like this not include at least a mention of G-d's involvement. Nature, and the connection with nature and yourself is a perfect setting to speak of our connection with G-d. I hope that connection is made within this awesome program.

on the edge of, Discovery and Recovery!

I loved listening to Shimon's very inspiring work with these young people who were imprisoned in ways he does so eloquently describe. HIs work is wonderful, innovative, and is making a profound difference. It's so clear in listening to him in his enthusiasm and love, that the journey on bike, through these most beautiful, awesome parts of Israel, to the heights, looking down, and forwards, has profound metaphoric connects that do apply to us all, being about the journey we all take in life. This is Wonderful! there's really nothing to add, except respect and love for his work.
