This is a self contradictory infographic

There are people at Aish who know me personally and who know that I am a professional physicist. The hyperventilating about this deal needs to stop. First, in order to have a working device, you need a lot of enriched Uranium. If you don't have enough, you have a fizzle. Atomics are not like dynamite where a smaller amount still goes off and makes a smaller boom. It takes a lot of time and effort to enrich that Uranium. Of more interest is Plutonium from reactors, but I have seen no information on that. In any case, Short of a ground invasion of Iran, there is *no* way to prevent them from working on their nuclear program. Conventional bombs do not penetrate deep underground facilities. Sanctions were not stopping Iranian efforts. The breakout time of days that this infographic goes on about a breakout time of days, yet in other parts mentions that only happens after 15 years of controls. It also does not seem to explain where they are going to get the additional enriched uranium for that breakout. This treaty is a stopgap. Nothing more and nothing less. But it does buy time and allow a lot of inspectors to gain access while removing a large enriched uranium stockpile. In the long run it most likely prevents an atomic bomb longer than keeping the sanctions. It is NOT a permanent fix. Those who wish we (the U.S.) would just invade perhaps should not have supported wasting American lives, time and treasure in Iraq leaving the nation without the budget or stomach for this.

Joe is right Merkel is a physicist too

I agree we American's will not fight a war. Pass a draft bill and Bernie Sanders is the next President (I assume he's against a draft) AIPAC does not represent all opinions nor does J Street.

Financial aid

It completely escapes me how a country like the USA which is in hawk to China up to it's ears can keep indiscreetly doling out money to countries like Egypt, Iran, and others where the money goes toward support of terrorism. Do they foolishly believe that they can buy immunity from countries where the ideology of the people hates them and would love to witness their complete destruction?

People, get over yourselves. Stop the fear mongering and learn something new. It is understandable that all you right wing extremist on both sides want nothing less than the total obliteration of the other side. If you were to be successful in that endeavour, that will not satisfy you, as there will always be someone else to go after in your very sick minds. Please, if there is a chance, no matter how slim, that we could have a positive end result, then it is worth every effort for all to try and make the deal work. Apositive outcome will be great for all including you extremist morons.

Sen Schumer, Gilibrand and Others!

NY Senators Schumer and Gilibrand! And all other Democratic representatives charged for representing their constituents and what is best for America! This Aipac List shows the OBVIOUS. Pres Obama Declares his deal STOPS AN IRAN BOMB. That is a LIE. The deal stops in 10-15 years! Pres Obama said there is a tough inspection "anywhere anytime" - that was a lie! It can take not 24 hours but 24 days! This is WORSE than the deal Chamberlain made with Hitler! Hitler was obligated to indicate he was interested in PEACE. Iran Is NOT Obligated to stop annual official Death to America and Israel rallies or Iranian funding of Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah and Yemen rebel forces! This deal is a danger to America by endangering Americas allies and the Mddle East, North Africa. Persian Gulf region in the short term and the US in the not so far long term with a Nuclear Jihadist regime! We need to contact these Democratic Congress people and Demand they do their jobs
