And what about Arrafat's widow~~
Remember Yassir Arafat who stole the billions given to him to help "his people"? He gave it to his wife who now lives quite nicely in Paris!!! There is no accountability. And why is there a Casino in the West Bank??? There are malls too and yet they plead hardship. When will they stand up and make a life for themselves instead of playing the martyr card??
August 15, 2010 1:21 AM
maybe they receive the most aid per capita because it is a very small country and the people are poor and homeless. I noticed you didn't show any extravagant wealth of the palestinians in that video. P.S, I thought Palestine didn't exist?
July 28, 2013 5:21 PM
Do you know what "per capita" means??
if they reaceive the most aid per capita it means each person gets the most money!! So being a "small country" is irrelevant. They know how to "play the martyr card" brilliantly, and their Arab brethren let them do it rather than help. Because when you have oil money (as Saudi Arabia and other arab countries do), you don't have to use brain power or technology to move into the 21st century. They allow their people to live like 1000's years ago. The ultimate in class system exists where the rich get richer and the poor live in filth, disease etc even in most Arab countries. So why is it even the US's job to fix it? Don't we pay enough for gas to these countries to fix their own people's lives???? geez

makes a lot of sense - why are they giving them money
very inspirational - makes sense that we should question where all this money gets wasted. its amazing how far money goes in israel and how little it does in gaza.

A refreshing movie...
Thank you Aish.com for putting something out that finally goes after the root of the Israeli-Arab conflict, VALUES. We clearly see how the Palestinians spend their money and are clearly not deserving of such vast amounts of aid.
Yes it's great that Israel is a medical and technological leader, but this is the movie that people, businesses and world leaders need to see.
August 12, 2010 1:37 PM
Amazing and so shocking!
I think we had some inkling about this, but the film really does explain and highlight these shocking facts. Its a real scandal and I think taxpayers have a right to know about this and an opportunity to petition their representatives to stop this flow of money. Its nothing short of daylight robbery! Everyone should see this, especially MP's in the UK - can AISH send this to them or advertise it somehow - people in the UK are genuinely ignorant and are often very anti Israel - they need their eyes opened up! This is the film to do it!

CAn this clip be sown on major networks around the world?
August 11, 2010 10:27 AM
The best film yet
This is an amazing film. In a nutshell it highlights the sheer waste and misdirection of vast sums of money which should be helping those in desperate need. Wouldn't it be wonderful if the whole world could wake up and do something positive to right this terrible wrong. I would recommend that everyone forwards this film to everyone they know. Let's have MORE films like this.

Great job. The whole world should see this clip!

This beautifully done video should be seen by everyone. A great accomplishment, journalistically and artistically!

It's the Truth
This is the truth the media doesn't want YOU to know.

What an Amazing Video!
This is exactly the type of video we need. One that appeals to a wide variety of people... not just the regular pro-Israel crowd. This tells people: Hey! If you want a better world (tikkun olam), you need to support Israel. That's what will speak to people, not just telling them: "Be pro-Israel" but show them how their support of Israel iwll help make the world a better place.
You MUST post more videos like these.

This is a crime against humanity!!!! Wake up world!!! G-d have mercy on us!!!

jennifer everything is sourced in the bottom right hand corner. anyway this is a great peace of thought provoking media. I consider myself pretty left wing but this is hard to argue with

Insightful movie - nice job aish.com and FreeMiddleEast.com. Everyone must see this.
I googled that 22million - a lot of organisations are sourcing it. It's true!
August 9, 2010 5:58 AM
Very effective, thank you
August 9, 2010 2:08 AM
The truth is finally told
I've read an article here and there about corruption in the PA but this video really hammers home how much they have wasted and sadly, how that money could have really saved lives. Amazing video Aish.com
August 8, 2010 10:39 PM
$22 million annually to Arafat's widow?!?!
You can't be serious. If anyone has sources for this, please, I'd love to see them.
August 8, 2010 5:29 PM
This is so scary and sad! Everyone should see this film.

It doesn't matter as long as we can use the Pally's to blame Israel
It really doesn't matter, it really doesn't matter.
It is a great scandal and it happens under our eyes and we want to remain blind as long as we can continue to blame the Jews for all the bad in the world.
I'm affraid for the Day when HaShem will judge us... the way the world is looking at Israel and is judging the Jews all the time and God decides to do a little measure for measure ..
August 8, 2010 4:41 PM
This is a case of severely skewed values. I cannot believe how much is wasted when there is such a high need for aid all over the world. Why don't we take responsibility for what we do with our money???
August 8, 2010 2:48 PM
August 8, 2010 2:33 PM
ow can the world ignore this ...
... and continue to villify Israel
August 8, 2010 1:48 PM
Everyone needs to see this. It's a scandal!

allocation of money in the Middle East
That's a good video on how the Palestinian Authority hardly does anything with the money they are given productively. However, it could've gone further into explaining how much funding to the PA was used to by qassam rockets that have been launched into Israeli cities, either by Palestinian sympathizers donating money from the broader international community or what they use in their cited Swiss bank accounts. As for Palestinian infrastructure, imagine how much of that money could've been used to build a functioning Palestinian state instead of blowing it all on rockets that fired into Israeli cities. I also heard that given the aid that Israel gives to the Palestinians, they have not paid back in return thru their taxes. The broader international community needs to stop pinning down that it is all Israel's fault that Palestinian territory in Gaza and the West Bank are delapidated, because where is the tie in that if the PA is supposedly innocent in all this??
