BBC: Gaza Flotilla: What Really Happened?

BBC: Gaza Flotilla: What Really Happened?

Watch the video of BBC's shockingly fair treatment of the Gaza flotilla.

by

A BBC documentary on the Gaza flotilla incident screened this week is causing a storm of protest from critics of Israel, who are furious that the program was not as hostile to Israel as they thought it should be.

The program concluded that the main aim of the activists had not been to bring humanitarian aid to Gaza, but rather to orchestrate a political act designed to put pressure on Israel.

The program also concluded that the Israeli commandos encountered a violent, premeditated attack by a hardcore group of Turkish IHH members.

Watch the program below and see what you think.

Israel should be legally allowed to use force to stop anyone who is coming to the Israeli territory of Gaza who wants to put political pressure on them. Humanitarian missions should not be allowed to have political purposes, because anyone who cares about people's well being should not act on their political opinions about the situation of their target population. It is sometimes necessary to stop these people in international waters, before they come to Gaza, to prevent any political pressure or weapons from reaching Hamas, because preemption is a crucial part of self-defense for a small nation. The first act of violence was already committed by entering Israeli territory, so if these "aid workers" are killed, so be it. Trying to enter Israeli territory of Gaza without Israeli permission is an act of war. Israel is the sovereign power in Gaza and when the Palestinians finally accept this fact and accept Israeli rule there will be no more need for violence. As soon as Palestinians completely stop all violence and contrarianism, Israel will have no need to use force. Israel is parent, Palestinians are children, Israel is responsible and rational, Palestinians are emotional and religious. Israel tells truth, Palestinians lie. Israel practices self-defense with unfortunate, inevitable collateral damage. Palestinian violence is all illegitimate. Just cooperate with Israel, and you won't get hurt anymore.

IHH = Masked Terrorist Group

Shouldn;t IHH be added onto the list of terrorists if we saw the head of the IHH proudly announce plans to attack israel. Israel acted legally, he spread propoganda to the men on board that Israel had no right to come on board. While she mentioned some of the media that was there with a purpose to "show the world" she didnt present the actual footage of lies they took, it was all a propoganda scheme.

Interesting how less than 20 seconds was dedicated to "2 thirds of the medicine was out of date and useless" Lets' not get too carried away by the BBC's neutrality

Great coverage by the BBC

Excellent documentary, and unusually objective for the BBC.
