I'm ashamed of my country's leader

I am ashamed of the actions of the US's president. I for one as well as many others believe that America is a nation intended to be a 'New' Israel but is failing terribly. we entertain despots and tyrannical leader. we forsake the Torah and expect the blessings to continue. 400 years in this Egypt is enough. I want to come home! I love Israel, your G-d shall be my G-d and your people shall be my people. if anything other than death should seperate us, let G-d deal harshly with me. America has thought the Torah to be a strange thing. We have wandered from the instructions of Moshe. Our leaders are ignorant of Emet/Truth. Our pharaoh knows not Yosef. Get me out of here! Zechariah speaks of the dividing of the land. I will not be a part of this.

Peace in our time

As the saying goes which I heard as a boy, "It's been going on since Moses' time." The only peace we can be sure of is from above. Until they allow Him to bring peace into their hearts, it will be a long wait. Shema Yisrael.

I agree with Earl Bailey, that is sad!

Great

Only Jews will enjoy (appreciate) it.

In response to your comment I have to disagree, I'm not a Jew myself and I always supported Israel cause. Having said that, I enjoyed the video and its message as much as any other person that would love to see peace for the State of Israel.

It doesn't address the problem.

The problem is the delegitimization of Israel, not that there's no partner for peace. If you believe, as a good deal of the world that bought Arab propaganda does, that Israel was stolen from the Palestinians, then all of Israel is Occupied Territory and Israel does not have a right to exist. With that belief, the rockets are justified, simply trying to conquer back their own territory from the rogues. Israeli, in this view, has no right to self-defense and no right to peace, only an obligation to disintegrate. And for the naive people who believe in two states for two people, even if you believe it, the Arab side of these two states does not believe it. They believe what I just described above. So any land concessions towards an Arab state is just the Arab plan of one step at a time towards wiping that "other" Jewish state off the map, thus creating Arab dominion from the sea to the Jordan river.

Awesome!

Ha! I liked it! But I disagree with Dvirah (commenter #4). It might not change the minds of true anti-semites, but I think it could change the minds of people who believe the falsehoods they are told about Israel and who just don't know any better. This can teach them a little, in a fun way :)

Leap of Faith

Thanks. I hope you're right and I'm not.

Sad!

So sad to see this satire which is so true.

(4) Dvirah, February 26, 2012 5:34 PM

Nice, But...

The play is nice, but I don't think it will convince anyone who doesn't already know the facts.
