Everyone needs a home, why should Jews be any different?

Everyone needs a home. Why should Jews be any different? There is no expiration date on an "eternal deed" to a land. As long as we practice loving-kindness to our neighbors and judge everyone as an individual and not from a "collective punishment standpoint". We (the Jews) have every right to remain the 'rightful stewards' of the Holy Land. As it is written, "and it shall come to pass that people from all lands of the earth will come to Jerusalem to seek the face of HaShem".

Take care not to become what they see you as

The definition of Zionism in the presentation is a narrow one and equates only to the right of Israel to exist. On that point I have few issues and agree with the presenter. But there is another meaning of Zionsm based on an intolerant and expansionist perception and approach to the world. Its psychology is at its worst not too dissimilar to the paranoia of North Korea (although admittedly nowhere near as nutty because nowhere near as isolated). While anti (Jewish) Semitism is undoubtedy real, irrational, and occasonally based in valid 'real politic' interests care needs to be taken that one doesn't become what one's enemies see you as. In this regard reactive Jewish fundamentalists are no more palatable than Muslim, Christian or Buddhist, or 'secular' extremists with a religious nature.

What has been done to the earstwhile Palestinians,...

Mr.Parnes, has been done by themselves - and their Arab brothers. Who caused it (and why) is very relevant. It is the result of a sort of Islamic religious irredentism and has little to do with the justice of Israel's cause. It is difficult to sympathize with self imposed suffering. The Nakbah is an improvised smoke screen. Learn a little more of your own history before defending those who would depose you. If you have no appreciation of your own rights and people you can have no significant understanding of human rights.

The University of South Alabama

Equating Zionism with racism is anti-Semitic. Denying the right of existence to Israel is also anti-Semitic. For those who oppose this, such as the fake group of people, have never supported the rights of millions of Kurds, Yazidis, Assyrian Christians or Coptic Christians to have their own homeland. These same people have never demanded land be returned to the Indians nor Armenians.

When was the last time losers in wars got land back after the fighting was done. If this should happen, do we give the land back to the reconstituted Ottoman Empire? Does Germany get land back lost in two world wars and the same for Japan, Finland and Poland in the last major war? What is overlooked is how many Jews living in Islamic Countries lost all their positions and told to go live in Israel. Now those same countries are demanding Israel give up all their possessions again.

If they want to make a peaceful solution to the "Two Countries for Two People." then lets take Israel, Jordan, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, and Syria and draw up new borders. This was the British and French Mandates of Palestine.
