My Top Tips

1- Always respond.
And don't start with "Well Israel isn't perfect, but..."

2- Always point out where your detractors will inevitably ignore several inconvenient historical facts.
For example, people protesting about the "occupation of the West Bank" will ALWAYS ignore the fact that Israel only occupies this area because Jordan tried to attack Israel using this land in 1967. No attack from Jordan? No Israeli occupation.

3- Always confront the double standards.
Israel is not perfect, but neither is the Palestinian Authority. People always accuse Israel of being innately racist-- of course, there is racism in Israel and that is no more acceptable than it is anywhere. But ALWAYS point out the genocidal racism and anti-Semitism of the Palestinian Authority, Hamas, and prominent clerics in the Palestinian Territories. Try and see whether detractors will condemn those things. Usually, they won't.

respond to Prof. Dershsowitz

Professor Dershowitz always makes good suggestions and often tells things as they are, but when it comes to politics, I think that people tend to make emotional decisions influenced by their family history and not by logic. I find that people will tend to support what they have been comfortable with in politics and even fabricate reasons not to change their previously followed views, even if they know that they may have been introduced to facts of which they had not been aware. Boycott Israel is not logical. It is based on pure and simple embedded hatred. When confronted, some people don't even know why they hate Jews. Some use ridiculous reasons, such as, " they control all the money." All the logic in the world will not make an anti-Semite change. At best, it may shut them up for a moment. It will take generations of constant honest facts about Israel in all forms broadcast to the world to prompt more positive opinions.Using Jews as a scapegoat for all sorts of sins perpetrated on the world by power hungry leaders of corrupted countries is the easy way out for them. Jew hatred will not easily go away without re-education. It's out there, but much more is needed to change the tide. It would help even more if self-hating Jews kept their opinions to themselves.

my 3 top tips

1. Study in Eretz Yisroel.
2. Live in Eretz Yisroel.
3. Personally bring peace to Eretz Yisroel this way: encourage your grandchildren to live in Eretz Yisroel - Psalm 128:6 And may you see children [born] to your children, [and [THUS] see] peace upon Israel. ווּרְאֵה בָנִים לְבָנֶיךָ שָׁלוֹם עַל יִשְׂרָאֵל:
