There is no such thing as coincidence... EVERYTHING has a meaning... G-d is always in command... Often we can't see it... but sometimes we can!... Toda rabah Adonai

Jews are connected

After listening to this video I most say: Yes, the Hebrews are connected, if not in culture, because of the different places Hashem, blessed is He, has brought us around the world for different circumstances, we, as a people of G-d are connected. I found out about it 7 years ago, when I didn't even knew that I was a descendant of the Sephardim from Spain, Yemen, France, and Austria. When I became and American citizen, I changed my name to Rut. It was in me, in my soul. That name represents something I do not know yet, but after researching I found out about the lost of my heritage because of the persecution. Hashem, blessed is He, have united us in spirit and truth. No matter what anybody say, or think, or the differences in culture we have, the Jewish soul is a Jewish soul and no one can change that fact. The pain that the Jewish people go through, I go through. It will be until we are reunited again in Hashem's, blessed is He, Kingdom to come. B"H

What's in a name?

When our first son was born - we had not decided on a name - thus, he was Baby Boy NOTTESTAD - we both agreed it was important to choose just the right name for this precious son of ours. As days passed people would ask aren't you going to name your baby? My husband had gone to a place he found peace an artisan spring that spouted cold H20 quietly streamed there, and
with pen and paper gave deep thought to his new sons name.
He handed me the next morning a paper with three names on it and asked me to choose - one name was circled numerous times - I agreed the perfect name for Baby Boy NOTTESTAD! he attended college and he worked during college breaks and
summers as an Engineer for a small company in the town we
lived. While there an older man took him under his wings and one day he called my son over and gently told him that when signing any engineer design you put your initials not your name -
Dan smiled and told his friend those are my initials D. A. N.
Daniel Allen NOTTESTAD. His friend was tickled and embraced our son. The PERFECT name for our Precious Son! Now an Engineer.
I too enjoyed the story - God works in mysterious ways - may Gods stead fast love be with all as he shines HIS light on even the everyday events that transpire in every second of one's life.
