Moved, Touched, and Inspired

I have been moved by this video -- and the life of our Rabbi. I was raised Christian, but I feel deeply connected to Judaism. Thank you for posting this video -- and demonstrating what it is like to live a life of service.

Rabbi Noach does hear you!

After my husband died, I wept for 3 days and 3 nights and could not stop. Then, in the morning he was there, took me in his arms, as he always did (I did not know whether it was dream or rality.) And he said: "Please stop weeping, Motek,I am not far away from you. I can see everything you do, and hear everything you say. - And so, I think, Rabbi Weinberg listened to your words, And maybe he was moved like I was. And happy, that you understood what he told all his life. (One is always moved by love and friendship and being understood totally.)

Reb Yaakov: Thank you for your moving words. Thank you for working with the Rosh Yeshiva to put his beautiful thoughts and words in print in "What the Angel Taught You." Thank you for living in the Rosh Yeshiva's dream, and thank you for continuing to do so long into the future, in good health. I know you will. For him. For us. May he rest in peace, knowing that we are carrying on his legacy.

My deepest condolences

Dear Rabbi , Rabbi Weinberg's family and everyone at Aish, My deepest condolences, I did not know Rabbi Weinberg personally but have been touched by his love through Aish. To think of what he has accomplished and continues to accomplish is so awesome that I can not find the words. Love Paul

Our beautiful Chevre!

Dear Rebbe, The 38 years that I was privliged to study with you and work for Aish is the greatest gift. To be a failure, from the smallest of your students is a most meaningful position. But, it is not just the teaching, the leading and the inspiration. You provided us all with a chevre that are united in seeing what you saw and cherishing the cause you fought for. At this moment, we can all say that we are completely united in our love for you. That is the gift of Chevre. It is another thing that I will be eternally endebted to you for. Reb Yakov, thank you for being one of our chevre and expressing our feelings with such sensitivity and beauty.

Rabbi Salomon, you have truly expressed what is in our hearts, as I,together with so many around the globe join you in sorrow and pain for the great gem that we have lost. But R' Weinberg's ZT"L legacy will continue to live on, through the millions of seeds that he has planted amongst klal Yisroel and all around the world. Thank you R' Weinberg for loving , believing and sincerely caring for everyone of us, for every Jew in the world. We were so fortunate to have had such a special neshama amongst us. You will never be forgotten, and your sechar is immeasurable, as the seeds you have planted will continue to sprout and produce more fruit. May you merit to sit with the tzadikkim near the kisei hakavod. Yehe zichracha mevurach!

This Shabbos I had the book you wrote with the Rosh Hayeshiva's ideas in front of me during the meal and between the meals. The great picture of Rav Noah stared at me. And I felt his love for Klal Yisroel and how he would tell us all to do so much more. I read it once again with a new and fresh look. I read it as a personal message to me, as it was a personal message to everyone in Klal Yisroel. The Rosh Hayeshiva believed that a new fellow coming to Aish Hatorah could be a teacher and spreader of Torah after one month. That is, if he internalized the messages that the Rosh Hayeshiva gave in that month. When the yeshiva first started, I thought that this was an impossible wish. What does a person know in Torah after just one month? But the Rosh Hayeshiva was right!! One inspired fellow turned on to Hashem, the Jewish people, and Torah can start having an impact right away. Of course, he needs to learn Torah for the rest of his life. He needs to gain comprehensive knowledge. But the drive and determination is what counts. That is a matter of internalizing and integrating. It is not a matter of time. Keep up your wonderful, inspiring work, Reb Yaakov. Let us all learn what we can actually do when we keep dreaming, thinking, and acting.

Short, Sweet & Yet Poignant Tribute

As always, very heartfelt and eloquent - just like R' Weinberg himself...indeed, R' Weinberg lives on through his students - and not just the knowledge he imparted, but the love he instilled within anyone he ever encountered. The world has truly lost a pillar - but G-D has acquired a precious gem to adorn His throne!
