very well then
We should occupty our weekdays by sturdying the weekly Torah. The word of God is the light through our footsteps and the paths we tread upon. Shabbat is a delight which radiates light into our lives and families. Shalom.

I am Shomer Shabbos, and I am MORE than willing to concede that there is a special something to the Toa concept of Shabbat. In fact, I would have written: "Stop. Listen. Live."BUTIt is certainly not fair to portray Shabbos as a "magic wand" answer to the 'rat race' of western culture 'business ethic.'It might have been better to make a slightly longer video showing how the frantic pace of the week is contrasted, offset, and brought into focus and perspective by having a "Shabbos-centered" week, instead of a business centered one.Even if this particular "vid" was aimed at an "introductory level audience," a hyperlink to some further followup might have been suggested. For example, "Stop...enjoy.Want to learn how? Click Here!"Just my 20,000 microDollars.

What We Work For
A great point. Shabbat is a microcosm of the World to Come. That world is ALL about what we make of ourselves in this world. If our weekday is focused on expressing the will of G-d, our Shabbat will radiate His light. Our homes and hearts will be filled with it. If, however, our lives are inwardly focused - what will the world give me, how much can I make, acquire, etc. - then Shabbat will be an endless burden and the cries of "when is Shabbat over" will be heard throughout the day.
