A major tool for being in the present mentally is to focus on your breathing. You are breathing right now. Be totally present as you slowly inhale and exhale. If your mind wanders, calmly bring it back. Keep practicing this. Wouldn't it be wonderful if you were able to be serene in the present every time you breathe?
