Daily Lift #765

Love Lessens Offenses

When someone feels an inner animosity towards another, then even a minor offense can arouse great animosity. Even though the immediate incident could be trivial, the previous negative feelings create quarrels.

However, when someone feels love for another person, he is able to overlook many things, and to forgive whatever the other person does.

Increase your love towards others and forgive them.

(see Vilna Gaon - Proverbs 10:12; Rabbi Pliskin - "Consulting the Wise")
