sons serving as infantry soldiers in Israel

I agree with the comment by Sharon, you raised him well. I have three sons who all served as infantry soldier in Israel. I am proud of them I am also proud that one of them became Haredi, after serving in the army, in a country where most of the Haredi boys do not serve in the army. where 3 of my daughters did national service working in difficult wards in hospitals that are all understaffed and I am proud of them too. It is scary to have our children serve both in the army and in national service (and sometimes just riding on buses in our cities here in Israel),. we can be proud of them that this is what they want to do and what they choose to do. May HaSh-m look after them all and bring them all home safe and whole.

Your son

May G-D protect and keep your son and all the Israeli soldiers and keep them safe just like they are fighting to keep us safe.

it is beyond admirable of ur son to join the Israeli army and help protect our land. please let him know that we support him and thank him for his current and future efforts, along with the efforts of all the soldiers of Israel. May Hashem watch over and guide him and all the soldiers until the coming of Moshiach.

We Pray for All Our Sons and Daughters Defending Freedom Everywhere

It is never easy to watch our children go into danger but it is a task that must be done. Without them, we would have no expectation of Peace. We pray for Peace everywhere and the safe return of all our children. My son is a four year veteran of the US Army, back from Iraq and just re-enlisted. My prayers and thanks extend to all defenders of freedom and their families everywhere.

I, too, have a son going into the IDF shortly

My son will be joining the IDF very soon, after having made aliyah last summer. At first I was beside myself with fear, but an old friend looked me in the eyes and said "I think that protecting our people is the holiest work a person could ever do." He really touched my heart, and though I will always be afraid for my son, and every other mother's son protecting the State of Israel, I am confident that Hashem will hear my prayers and protect them all..
