Welcome to MY life, lol. Many of the goals I've achieved and am working on are NOT easy but they certainly are worthwhile. A big mazal tov and yasher koach to you, Lori Palatnik.

Residing in Israel!!!
Mrs. Palatnik is absolutely right!!! My family and I have resided in Israel for almost 20 years and it has been an extremely difficult 20 years, but for reasons beyond my control we remained. Pay attention to the word ''resided'' as opposed to ''lived''. I do not feel that I live at all in this country but only reside here. Being married to an Israeli woman makes it even much more difficult but I remained with her for the sake of my children who are now of marriageable age and for G-d willing future grandchildren, etc.

Remembering Yehoshua 1:9
Dear Lori,Your video remembered me Yehoshua 1:9:"Be strong and of good courage; be not affrighted, neither be thou dismayed: for the L"RD thy G"d is with thee whithersoever thou goest"Mazal tov for the move you are making!

Lori, doing something and having it cause us *pain* is hugely different than doing something which we may find *hard*. If I hadn't already made aliyah to Israel I would be totally discouraged by your latest blog saying how much PAIN is involved in making the move. I would like to see you be more positive to all who may be contemplating aliyah!!

It's how you hear it
There is a saying....Faith doesn't make things easy, Faith makes things possible" it's all in the attitude . I believe Lori is saying, and saying it well, that

And saying well, was that if someone has a goal, they will pursue the goal and see obstacles or pain as that which is worth pursuing in order to attain such goal. This concept determines if one sees s/t as 'hard' or as 'pain'. It is the attitude and not situation that enables one to succeed. I wish you much bracha
