when my grandson (in California) was about 4, he was in day care, and he came home crying one day telling my daughter that everyone in his class had a grandma & grandpa & he didn't. She told him, of course you do, bubbe & zayde. He was so surprised & relieved. He's now 21.

An inspirational tale

i am constantly seeking a message that can inspire me and help me understand certain things that do not alway s have a very clear explanation. this story has an amazing message and i believe that it is a great mashal that many people could gain so much from. thank you for the inspiration!

Responce to What If

There are times when G-d appears to be silent because either we aren't listening,or because G-d, out of his love for us, is testing our heart. I've experienced this and so did King David, as well as many others. I will pray that G-d will allow you break through and sense his presence once again. G-d really is our Abba and his greatest desire is to have communion with his children.

What if

What if our father doesn't hear our cry for help? should we just let it go as this may be his will? I'm crying out for help for the past weeks and so far he hasn't heard me - can you join me in my prayers?

Lori is able to inspire and inform in a matter of minutes. The video is a little nugget that I can tuck into my psyche and easily pull out when needed.

Simple but Poignant Message -- Pray!

One of the ultimate expressions of our existence is prayer to Hashem. Sometimes it seems like an amorphous communication. Lori Palatnik's story about her daughter looking for her parents can help anyone remember that we are Hashem's children, and that our prayer is an essential component of our relationship with our ultimate parent. Lori's stories always make me think. She touches on subjects that are very close to home and ones that I can relate so easily to. She inspires me to be a better and more religious jewish person.

I was laughing and crying while watching this clip. I too have a daughter Malky, who has only a "Taty" and you brought back so many memories of Malky saying defiantly, I dont have a daddy or a father, My Taty makes kiddush!! Very good message.
