Nu?

I think I agree with this partially. I have had some wonderful, wonderful answers to prayer, others have (thankfully) not been answered...but as for the trials I face now, I know neither how to deal with them or how to interpret them...so my question to Lori would be, so, okay, HOW do we LISTEN? Thanks for the commentary, now for the follow-up?

G-d Sends Messages?

Did G-d send 6 million messages druing the 19302 and 40s? Did G-d send messages to the people today who found out they have inoperable cancer or Alzheimer's?

messsages

an interesting perspective on the bad things that happen and on the good things that happen in life

I think there's more to this story. it is true that the phoenix rises from the ashes and it is true that out of bad often comes opportunity and the same for windfalls and yes, these could be messages. But if God is creating all these messages then surely it is our very lives that are being thus governed. So what moves us? what makes the car tires go flat? It's all God then, to protract the logic.

As to the next world. No. I don't think we are rewarded and punished. I see this as a journey of the soul and as we go through, we are learning all the time and life has this curve and we are, each of us, in terms of this curve on different "rungs" as rung is to bell and bell is to curve. I am seeing the deepest answers lie in language itself.
