    Southern Hospitality

I believe Savannah Georgia is the queen of southern hospitality. When visitors call me to see if they can eat in the Glatt kosher retirement community next to the shul, I tell them not to bother. They'll receive numeous invitations in shul & someone will take them home for Shabbos!

    Jews in the South

People are always so suprised to find Jews in the South. My mother's maternal great grandfather and her paternal grandfather were among the founders in 1855 of the shul which hosted Lori. The shul has the second longest continuous minyan in the US. Check out Charleston: you'll be pleasantly surprised.
