As I expect my first child....

Lori, If I am to be half the mother you are to my own child(ren), who we are anxiously anticipating the arrival of (G-d willing), he or she will be have as many blessing as there are stars in the sky. Thank you for all of your teachings. You are already impacting the next generation!

Becoming religious

It pleased me so much to hear about your mother's reaction to you becoming religious, Lori. I'm glad that she was so accepting and that you acknowledge it. Currently, I am in the process of deciding whether I want to become religious and am facing mixed reactions from my family, ranging from supportive to confused (like why would you want to do that?). It was great for me to hear how well things seem to have worked out for you. I enjoy hearing your advice and stories.

Lori's Mom

I have had the honor and pleasure of meeting Lori's mom on several occasions. Like Lori, she is devoted to her family. She is a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her warmth and love of others are true and deep. Her beautiful paintings reflect the joy she brings to this world. Lori is truly her mother's daughter.
