Elul: Tax Season for Your Tzedakah (Charity) AlsoConcurrent with the excellent video one should at least once a year make sure that one gave charity commensurate with one's means (generally at least 10% of after income/payroll tax income (other taxes (e.g. R/E not Tzedakah deductible)); there are exceptions poor people are sometimes allowed to give to themselves, comfortable people up to 20%, the very wealthy are allowed to give even more.).

I have now listened to this excellent video twice. Could you please eliminate the background music and restore the close captioning? IMO, the background music detracts from the crucial message you are working to deliver. The close captioning has been a MAJOR help to those folks with a hearing impairment. (I don't have one, but I know many folks who do.) Btw--I now have a little better picture of how I can make improvements in the coming year. As always, I thank you for everything you do and hope I can meet you in person one day! :-)

Boker Tov Lori--During this past year I started learning Hebrew. Although I am good at learning foreign languages, learning Hebrew has been difficult. I am going to work on my Hebrew in the year to come so that I can improve my reading skills and delve deeper into my terrific Artscroll Siddur.
