women w/children at home

If a woman's children are grown and no longer living home, is she still not worth bringing back into the fold. Ageism is as bad as any other "ism". I hear this a lot and don't know whether to be sad or insulted.

Reading your comment posted at 4:29, i felt compelled to say something and i hope that my words will be a comfort. but i will address the second comment first- i hope that is ok. i do not know to much about what is written in the torah but i DO know that in regard to judiasm, the older someone is, the wiser they are considered and the more respect the Torah demands FOR them from others. age is not something that is a negative thing,. Among a vast number of things- the more years someone has under there belt enables them to know more about life, and this makes them better and wiser ppl! there would not be another gneration if the previous one one did not teach- and young ppl cannot teach the next generation except for what not to do! and additonally the older ppl would not be able to teach if they did not have those incredibly learning experiences called life that they went through over the years. for example: a young mother does not know half as much a veteran mother who already raised her kids! in regard to the other comment, any good deed that a person does for the sake of judiasm in huge!! does it really matter that a person has no children at home? should a childless women also not be considered important enough to bring back? i know that this is not the case. any good deed a person does for the sake of heaven is a huge accomplishement!!! a women lights candles before friday night in an empty home will have a huge blessing apon her house, the same as a women with a houseload of children. a women with no kids at home will still get reward for striving for truth and looking for God in her life- just like someone who is still young with children in the house. i do not have any sources for what i wrote here, but i know that what i wrote is true. the best luck to you and your family
