A Bold Prediction

Another hidden manifestation of G-d in the Megillah and history. According to all scholars, Jewish, non-Jewish and even atheistic, the Megillah is over 2,000 years old. Near the end it says, "These days of Purim will never depart from the Jews". Probbaly when these words were written, there were skeptics who said "Yeah, Yeah, wishful thinking or a bunch of baloney." Yet not only have Jews suffered endless persecutions since then but nevertheless survived as a people, but they still celebrate Purim just as stated in the Megillah!!!

Catching a Glimpse of GOD …

Lori … I love your parting nudge that we “…make the effort.” I believe GOD is pleased when we look for him in the circumstances of our lives – particularly those we cannot fathom. When I fail to do this, I am acutely aware that He is hidden from me by the breadth and weight of preoccupations with my life. And it is only when I open my mind and heart to the Giver of Life that I catch glimpses of Him. Oh Joy! Shalom!

Love the Celebration

While in Jerusalem we happened on a day when kids were celebrating after school.....there were many dressed in great costumery with face paintings, some angels & fairies, many types of queens, Hamans & Mordicai & Kings & Soldiers and slaves. Loved all of it.
