Egocentrism and Racism

Dr. Dave's words made me realize how much egocentrism there is in racism: much racism is founded on a need to feel superior to somebody (for example, whites to blacks or Nazis to everyone else). However, since this sense of superiority is spurious, the racist is probably plagued with evidence to the contrary, which he/she studiously ignores but which no doubt increases the hatred.

excellent

Dr. Lieberman's has a remarkable ability to communicate essential concepts in a clear & concise manner. I truly enjoy his new "Soul Control" forum on Aish and I am benefiting from it too. I look forward to hearing what he has to say each week

upbeatness

Excellent points on achieving the right self-image. Perhaps our ego tests us when we are around others in competition. Understandably, G-d loves us the way we are, thereby giving us free will to achieve whatever is within our capability or grasp, no more, no less. Keep up with the good upbeat videos, Dr. Dave - you are so positive on self-esteem!
